The Jefferson Parish Council on Wednesday (Oct. 8) will consider a resolution asking state lawmakers to change the Louisiana Code of Evidence to allow the parish's inspector general to view emails pertaining to litigation and other legal matters. The sponsor, Councilman Ben Zahn, says its aimed at resolving one part of the multifaceted dispute between Inspector General David McClintock and his council critics, including Zahn.
