The Jefferson Parish Council voted 4-2 Thursday to amend hospitals consultant Joshua Nemzoff's contract to an hourly rate, in line with a recommendation by Inspector General David McClintock. Nemzoff, who specializes in health care mergers and acquisitions, will receive $650 per hour to help negotiate the lease of West Jefferson Medical Center to LCMC Health.
