The Jefferson Parish Inspector General’s Office has emerged victorious in its fight to get unrestricted access to the parish’s email servers — a tool it has said is critical to its watchdog role.
Parish President John Young re-established direct access Tuesday, putting an end to the first major point of friction between Inspector General David McClintock’s newly created office and other arms of parish government.
