Jefferson Parish facilitated federal grant payments to a Gretna nonprofit organization that used the money to pay immediate relatives of board members, among other suspect expenses, according to an audit report released Wednesday evening (Nov. 11) by Inspector General David McClintock's office. McClintock is referring the findings to the Jefferson Parish District Attorney's Office.
